Game Of The Month September 2018:What’s In Your Purse?

The Game is known as “What’s In Your Purse”. As the name suggests, people have to guess what items does your friend lady’s purse consists of? It is easy and very much free to play. All you need is a little bit of imagination, guests and purses. Not to forget to include a list which you will give it to each friend.

So, September has arrived. The Season of School Openings and what not. Also close to Halloween, but in my case it is Diwali and Navratri. So I figured, I should give you this old game back since my previous website got deleted. But I got the huge response from this game, so I will rewrite it once more.

The Game is known as “What’s In Your Purse”. As the name suggests, people have to guess what items does your friend lady’s purse consists of? It is easy and very much free to play. All you need is a little bit of imagination, guests and purses. Not to forget to include a list which you will give it to each friend.

Write up a few list of things which may found in woman’s purse. Don’t forget to include common things such as Lipstick,Credit Cards,Clippers etc. (Check below for sample of lists)

Assign points to each item.Make Common Household items a lower point.

Next thing you do is make enough copies for everyone.

Hand out the lists to your friends. Your friends can be grouped together into teams, such as by table, or each guest can play individually. It is up to your choice.

Tell your friends to go through their purses and check mark the item which they have. Make sure your friends don’t see each other sheets, so that suspense can be build up.

But in the case of teams, you can round everyone’s points in Team A and same goes for Team B.

The Person with the most points is the WINNER.

Here are few samples with sheets.

You don’t have to follow the above points, you can create your own point system, to have more fun.

Variation
If you are doing this weekly, make sure you change the items point system , otherwise it would be little boring to play. Give everyone a chance to win.

I guarantee, your ladies night would turn out more hilarious and fun and a memory worth to remember.

We all have been playing charades and some of us have been playing Reverse Charades. To Be Honest, they all have been fun. But this month, I am here to give you another variation which is known as Digital Charades. So Let us begin.

What is Digital Charades?
Digital Charades is that Ice breaker which you can play with your friends by using Apps on your smartphones.

How To Play
-First you need the app Heads Up from Ellen DeGeneres. If you do not want to pay for the app, there is another alternative app for this known as Charades.
-Now rules are much simple here.
-Now place your phone on forehead and try to guess from hints and clues your friends gives you.
-If they guess the clues wrong, the person holding the phone has to tilt up and if they guess right, tilt the phone down.
-If you have Charades App, you can create your own section and have fun
-Keep Repeating the process until you get tired.

Download the Apps given below

Charades

There are many apps who have the same function, but for me these 2 are really good. If you don’t mind paying for app and limited categories, I prefer Heads Up. But Personally I prefer Charades as it is fun and you can create your own categories to play with others.

Let me know your thoughts in the comments section. Share this blog with your friends and families, if you feel this is fun.

Game of The Month May 2018: Word Association

So here comes the toughest month of summer, May. So in this occasion, I wont spend time much. So let us begin. And today’s Game of The Month is Word Association.

Believing is tied in with making associations in the mind. Uncover something about how you and your companions think utilizing this basic round of making associations between words.

What is Word Association?
Word Association is a game which can be played with two to eight players. It works pleasantly as a conversation starter, a car game, or as a drinking game.

How To Play
-Everybody sits around.
-The first player says word out loud.
-The Next Player has to say a word quickly related to first player’s words
-What checks an association is down to the parliament of players to decide: in the event that some individual doesn’t care for an association, they can move it, and everybody votes on regardless of whether to permit it.
-In case of a tie, the word is permitted.

A Player is eliminated or forfeit if any of these happens
-Taking more than 3-4 Seconds to make connection
-Repeat a word already said
-Challenged and loses the votes

Eliminated players can still take votes and make challenges. The Last Player is the winner.

For example, one sequences of words might be:

  • Jumper
  • Athlete
  • Javelin
  • Greek
  • God
  • Jupiter
  • Planet
  • Pluto

At this point one player makes a challenge, on the grounds that Pluto is no longer considered a planet. Scientists are outnumbered at the table, and the word is allowed, so play continues clockwise.

Another test: a player dissents by pointing out that Batman isn’t a Marvel superhuman. Popular culture equity is done, and the vote conflicts with the player. That player is dispensed with, and another round begins with the following player all together.

Creative connections and creative challenges are encouraged. Don’t take this game too seriously. Just let the ideas flow and see if you don’t find it interesting or funny!

Hope you have know by the game by now. Let me know in the comments, how do you feel about this game now?
